GJ-bu Anime Slated to Air In January
A live program on the nicnonico service announced on Tuesday that the anime adaptation of Shin Araki 's GJ-bu (Good Job Club) light novel series will premiere next January. The studio Dogakobo (Yuruyuri) will produce the series, and the cast and staff will be announced in the near future.
The first announcement for the anime was printed alongside an advertisement for the GJ-bu Chūtō-bu spinoff series. However, the anime is now refered to simply as GJ-bu, the title of Araki's original light novel series.
Each of GJ-bu's nine volumes contains 36 four-page short stories about the lives of high school students.

Oozraya, the online shop for the company OOZ, announced on Tuesday that it and the Animate store chain will begin taking pre-orders on Friday for Hori-san to Miyamura-kun -Shin Gakki- (Hori-san & Miyamura-kun: New School Term), the original video anime adaptation of HERO's Hori-san to Miyamura-kun manga. Oozraya added that the anime is slated for release on September 26.

The official website for Shogakukan's Gagaga and Lululu light novel imprints has revealed that the upcoming television anime adaptation of Shin Araki's GJ-bu (Good Job Club) light novel franchise will be produced by Dogakobo (Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Yuruyuri).
While the original announcement of the adaptation was printed alongside an advertisement for the GJ-bu Chūtō-bu spinoff series, Gagaga and Lululu's latest web notice only refers to the title as GJ-bu.

New Minami-ke Anime DVD's 1st Promo Streamed
DVD bundled with 10th manga volume to feature same staff as upcoming 4th season
The official YouTube channel for the publisher Kodansha has begun streaming the promotional video for the anime DVD to be bundled with the 10th volume of Coharu Sakuraba's Minami-ke manga.
As previously announced, the original anime DVD will be produced by the staff of the title's upcoming 4th anime season. Both the new season and the DVD will be directed by Keiichiro Kawaguchi (Mayo Chiki!, Moetan Sket Dance) at the animation studio feel., and the DVD will cover chapters 179, 181, 185, 189, and 192 of the manga. Preorders for the 10th volume of Minami-ke will be taken until August 28, and it will be released on October 5 at a price of 3,700 yen (about US$47).

Ebiten Anime's TV Broadcast Promo Streamed
Series originally streamed online receives longer episodes for TV version
The official YouTube channel for Kadokawa began streaming a trailer for the upcoming television broadcast of its Ebiten: Kōritsu Ebisugawa Kōkō Tenmon-Bu anime series. While the title was originally distributed via live streaming on the niconico (formerly Nico Nico Douga) video service, the television broadcast for the series will feature longer episodes.

Rinne no Lagrange OVA/Game's Lan TV Ad Streamed
Lan character featured from Blu-ray shipping with anime & game on Thursday
Bandai Namco Games' official website for the Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days Hybrid Disc began streaming its second television commercial on Wednesday. The new ad centers on the character Lan.
The Hybrid Disc will include both the Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Days original video anime and the Rinne no Lagrange: Kamogawa Dream Match PlayStation 3 video game. The video anime already played in 10 theaters in Japan in June, and the Hybrid Disc will ship on Thursday.
The video anime will tie together the story of the first and second Rinne no Lagrange television anime series. The Hybrid Disc will also include the second season's "Episode 0: Kamogawa Memoria" that reviews the story of the first season, a special Lag-Radi! program from the voice cast for Kamogawa Days, cast and staff commentaries, and a 16-page Kamo*LaG Extra booklet. The limited first edition version will come in a special box with an exclusive reversible jacket.

Upotte's Summer Vacation Anime BD Promo Streamed
Cast goes to mountain camp with hot spring in Blu-ray bundled with manga
Kadokawa's official YouTube channel began streaming a promotional video for the original anime Blu-ray Disc that will come with the limited edition of Kitsune Tennouji's fourth Upotte!! manga volume.
The Blu-ray Disc will include an all-new anime episode, about 25 minutes long, that cannot be seen elsewhere. In the anime, the cast heads off to camp in the mountains during summer break. Along with fishing, cooking, and splitting watermelons, they discover a hot spring.
The manga will come with an alternate cover and an exclusive box, and is scheduled for an October 13 release. Preorders for the 4,410-yen (about US$56) volume have been extended until September 15.

Umineko's Sōichirō draws manga based on 07th Expansion's latest game
The September issue of Square Enix's Gangan Joker magazine began serialization on a manga adaptation of Ryukishi07 and 07th Expansion's Rose Guns Days novel game on Wednesday.
Sōichirō (Umineko When They Cry manga) will draw the art for the new Rose Guns Days Season One manga. Sōichirō worked as a character designer for the Rose Guns Days game.
Ryukishi07 (Higurashi: When They Cry) announced the latest game from his dōjin (self-publishing) circle 07th Expansion in January. 07th Expansion released the game on August 11.
The same September issue of Gangan Joker also revealed that namo will begin serialization on the Idolmaster: Cinderella Girls manga in the magazine's October issue on September 22.

New Gintama Movie Announced & Anime Series Returning In October
It has been confirmed that there would be a new theatrical movie for the Gintama franchise, and it is scheduled to be screened in Japanese cinema in 2013.
While the last episode of Gintama back in March mentioned that a new series was undecided, it has also been confirmed that the new season would be returning on 4 Oct 2012, Thursday at 6pm, replacing SKET Dance at their current timeslot. In the past, SKET Dance replaced Gintama at their former timeslot.
